Nothing beats traditional Dutch scenery like the windmills at Zaanse Schans. It’s one of my favorite places to shoot and if you’re lucky, you can see all the windmills along the river on a clear day. On this particular shoot, the day was calm and peaceful, perfect for a pre-wedding photoshoot with a lovely couple. Laura and Mak, both from Malaysia, are getting married next year so they decided to have a few fun photos somewhere away from home. They chose Zaanse Schans for its quaintness and charming village filled with wooden shoes, old Dutch architecture, and friendly locals. Overall a great cultural experience combined with picturesque scenery.
