I am specialized in prewedding photography in the Netherlands in places like Amsterdam, the iconic tulip fields of Keukenhof and the windmill village of Zaanse Schans. I am also available for your destination prewedding shoot in other cities in Europe. If you have a place in mind, feel free to contact me and let’s discuss your plans!
Below are some of my favorite prewedding shoots I have photographed around Europe. Click on the images below to view the full portfolio.
Over the years I have photographed many pre wedding shoots for couples from all over the world. As a result, I have built a portfolio of pre wedding photoshoots in Amsterdam and other iconic places in Holland. For example, the Keukenhof flower gardens and the surrounding tulip fields are a popular choice. Similarly, the windmill village of ‘Zaanse Schans’ is a great location if you want to incorporate a bit of Dutch tradition.
Amsterdam is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. No matter which canal or street you take, you are sure to appreciate the charm this city has to offer. Beautiful buildings from the 16th and 17th century fill the entire city. In addition to the buildings, there are countless canals to explore. Above all, the local people riding their bikes will give you a real feel for life in Amsterdam.
Perhaps the most well known flower gardens in the world are situated about 45 minutes from Amsterdam. Keukenhof flower gardens only opens 2 months out of the year and showcases millions of different flowers. The best time to visit the tulip fields is in the month of April when the tulips are in full bloom. Whatever your preference, Keukenhof will surely not disappoint! If you wish to have your prewedding photos taken at Keukenhof, this will require 2 hours in the park. However, if you want to include the endless colorful tulip fields outside the park, this will require an additional hour. The flower fields are a great way to end the prewedding shoot as the sun sets because the golden hour provides for some beautiful lighting.
About 30 minutes from Amsterdam is the small village of Zaanse Schans. Old windmills and traditional green wooden houses give the impression of what a traditional village looked like in Holland in the 18th century. The colorful windmills are open to the public, therefore we will have plenty of opportunities to photograph them.
The largest and arguably the most beautiful castle in the Netherlands is located about a 45-min drive from Amsterdam. Kasteel de Haar is everything you expect from a medieval castle: towers, draw bridges and moats. The surrounding gardens are extremely well kept and make the castle extra elegant. To really capture the castle and its surroundings, a prewedding shoot here will require 2 hours.
Because I am based in Europe, I am also available for your destination pre wedding photoshoot in other cities in Europe. These include Paris, London, Prague, Barcelona or Santorini, just to name a few. Are you both more into nature? That’s cool! Europe has a lot of beautiful sceneries. Places to consider are Iceland, Interlaken, Hallstatt or the lavender fields in the South of France. Whatever your destination may be, please let me know so I can provide you with more information about my packages and services.
