Over the years, I have photographed many proposals in the Netherlands, from Amsterdam to the windmill village of Zaanse Schans. I have even photographed proposals in the tulip fields in the month of April, when the tulip fields are in full bloom! Being a local photographer makes it easier to plan your photoshoot. All these locations are relatively close to one another, so you can easily combine multiple locations. I have my own car and can arrange transport upon request. Every proposal is different and I love to think along in making your proposal truly unique. I only work with high-end camera equipment, ensuring you will receive between 100 and 150 edited photos in the highest quality within 2 weeks after your proposal shoot. I spend a great amount of attention to the smallest details and go the extra mile to make sure you will enjoy your photos for many years to come.

Some tips for the perfect proposal shoot in Amsterdam
Planning a proposal can be nerve-wrecking, I get that. So let me give you some tips to be prepared and take away some of that stress.
- Contact me in time: Having photographed many proposal shoots in Amsterdam, I know what works best. As I often get booked way ahead in the busy summer months, make sure to contact me in time to ensure availability. Amsterdam is beautiful any time of the year, so if you’re flexible I would recommend visiting in spring or fall time. My availability is more flexible then and the crowds will be less in the city.
- Keeping it a secret or playing along? Some people choose to keep the shoot a secret until the day of the shoot. Others tell their partner they have booked a professional photographer to just take some photos of them as a couple. There’s no right or wrong, but make sure you come up with a good plan. I will ofcourse play along and pretent like we are just taking photos. That’s part of the fun! 🙂
- Don’t rush it and enjoy this special moment: Getting down on one knee can be stressful, but you need to also enjoy this moment. Think of when you want to pop the question during the photoshoot. We will align on the right time for you to ask your partner to marry you. I would recommend doing this in a quiet place so there’s little distraction. This way, you can really focus on that one question.
