I met Haley and Malte last year in Tanzania while shooting a mutual friend’s wedding on the island of Zanzibar. After getting to know them, it turned out that they were living not too far from where I live in the Netherlands….talk about small world! So we instantly became friends.
During that same time, Malte had proposed to Haley in Zanzibar and she gladly said ‘yes’! So when they contacted me asking if I could capture their wedding day, I gladly said ‘yes’!
This was a very pretty wedding in Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands. Her family and friends from Iowa and his family and friends from Germany came together to celebrate this special day. We walked around the center of Nijmegen for some fun photos before heading to the city hall. Then it was off to a beautiful quaint courtyard behind a restaurant in the city center for some great food and good times.
